Sweet Harmony

Sunday’s gathered worship was beautiful.  There was such a sweet spirit in the air.  About 8 people showed up at 8:00 to pray for the worship gathering, for those leading, and for the worshippers.  We had the lowest attendance we have had in years and yet that didn’t even matter.  We worshipped God and I think God was pleased!

A few weeks ago we began pruning some rose bushes and I think our body is now in a position to fulfill its mission: Being Followers … Making Followers – Loving God, Loving Each Other, Loving Others.

Churches cannot move forward if there are negative and critical voices speaking into the air.  We have been praying for a church of 50 people (I wouldn’t mind 100 though) who “fear nothing but sin and God” and are ready to follow Christ and invite others into that journey.  I think we are ready to live in harmony, have no divisions, and be of one mind and purpose (1 Corinthians 1:10).  In praise of Christ!
