Too Much Pressure …

So this is what my family rides around in these days.  Well, sort of.  I think this one looks nicer and ours is about two feet longer in the back.  Any how, for the last couple of months the transmission has been acting a little funny and then in the last couple of weeks it just wouldn’t shift properly, especially going uphills.  So, a friend of mine and I went to work on it.  Fuses … check.  Shift censors … check.  Engine codes … check.  Transmission fluid … uh … problem.  I know what you’re thinking, Not enough fluid.  That wasn’t it at all.  There was way too much transmission fluid.  As we laid under the van (hoping that draining the fluid would solve the problem) we realized that trying to cram too much into life just doesn’t work.  An abundant life isn’t based on the quantity of one’s life, but on the quality.

So if your not getting maximum miles per gallon in your life try draining a little fluid.  Simplify.  Build some margins into your day by ruthlessly cutting things out.  “In quietness and trust is your strength.” (Isaiah 30:15)
