Fall Ball

We have a fall tradition.  We have a lot of little traditions but this one is super fun.  On a cool fall night we have a fire in the fireplace, have a tea party….in the fancy dining room.  We dress up fancy and dance to classical music or whatever else we feel like dancing too.  This year was our best yet because our family has grown and George got to be part of the festivities this year.  Here’s a few pix from our gala event.

Patrick was helping clean up after the fun and said “What kind of people do this sort of thing; this was awesome!”

We like to move it, move it!

Well it was a night to remember.  Especially the weather, our cold spell is over and the hot desert winds, called the Santa Ana’s, are blowing through.  Fall will return for sure, sometime around Christmas!

  1. As Eliza Doolittle put it:

“I could have danced all night, I could have danced all night and still have danced some more. I could have spread my wings and done a thousand things…….”
